Learnerships with 360°
A Learnership is a structured, work-based learning programme directly related to occupation and usually takes place over one year, leading to a nationally recognised qualification. The learnership is signed between the Employers, us as your accredited skills provider, the relevant Seta and the learner. They will spend usually 30% on formal training and 70% at your workplace gaining practical experience.
It’s effectively a tax deduction, which an employer may claim. For every learner that completes the learnership, you can deduct R40 000 from your tax. This is also an excellent reason for companies that need to consider BBBEE. Skills development alone is worth 25 points. We can also help companies to improve their Enterprise development (40 points) and Socio-economic development (5 points).

We will manage the whole learnerships for the period, inclusive of submitting the correct documentation, reporting, assessment, moderation, exiting and certification. This includes liaising with the relevant Seta.

Typically the theoretical component (30%) will be done at a training venue or if numbers and training venue allow, onsite. Your choice. Depending on the qualification some content will be delivered online and others classroom. This is called blended learning and the idea is to use the best of both learning methodologies.
Secondly, the practical component (70%) of the learnership will entail that the employer will host the employees to provide them with practical experience and evaluate their performance and suitability if they would consider appointing some learners. If this is however not possible we will come up with meaningful alternatives and suggestions to accommodate you.
